C.Shreve the Professor - Legendary (feat. Jrusalam)

"Legendary" is the latest single from C.Shreve the Professor and finds the North Carolina rapper linking up with Raleigh, NC emcee Jrusalam over a head nodding NosmoKing production. The song has a playful vibe to it, with both emcees just "dropping bars with Legendary aspirations in mind". Peep it below and also make sure to check out C.Shreve's dope "Summer Ransom" project that dropped last year if you like what you hear.

C.Shreve the Professor - Phoenix (Single)

C.Shreve the Professor - Phoenix (Single)

North Carolina's C.Shreve The Professor just dropped his latest track, titled "Phoenix", yesterday and it's pretty dope. The song finds the Free The Optimus rapper kicking some socially conscious rhymes about the bullshit going on in the world today over a head nodding Kevobeats production.

"They divide us til we fall, but we riders for the cause / So we rise together til the blood spilled pays the cost / For that freedom that you claim, code word game by any other name.."
Nice. Peep it below. Also make sure to check out the Free The Optimus website if you like what you hear.

C.Shreve the Professor - Be True (feat. Ill Will) (Single)

C.Shreve The Professor comes through with his latest track "Be True", which features the North Carolina emcee linking up with Ill Will over a soulful Handbook production. The beat is real dope and the rhymes are just as strong, with both emcees being "largely influenced by the police militarization we continue to see in Ferguson and elsewhere." Peep it below.

C.Shreve the Professor - Summer Ransom (Album)

North Carolina rapper C.Shreve The Professor just dropped his long awaited 10th full length release on August 14th and it's really dope. The album features production from ILe Flottante, Good Shepard, Handbook, Whokairs?, Soul Monk and others as well as guest verses from Woven Hatchets, Jrusalam, Trapbo' Chad and more. I gave the project a good listen today and was feelin' mostly every track on here, from the jazzy, soulful feel of "Blast Off" and "My Hemisphere" to the harder, grittier boom-bap vibe of "The Feast". Many of the instrumentals on the album have a summery feel and C.Shreve sounds great over them, effortlessly switching between boastful battle raps and some more introspective rhymes found on tracks like "The Professor". This one will be getting a lot of play from me this year. Don't sleep. Peep the full album below.

C.Shreve the Professor - Dogfight (Single) and What It Do (Video)

C.Shreve the Professor is set to drop his "Summer Ransom" project on August 13 and decided to release a new track and video to hold everyone over until then. The second release is a video for the song "What It Do", which is produced by Soul Monk and was shot last week when C.Shreve opened for Three 6 Mafia in Asheville.

C.Shreve the Professor ft. Woven Hatchets and Jrusalam - The Feast (Video)

C.Shreve the Professor just dropped some visuals for the second single from his upcoming "Summer Ransom" project in the form of the song "The Feast." The song features C.Shreve linking up with North Carolina emcees Woven Hatchets and Jrusalam as all four rappers spit fire over a head nodding instrumental by NC hip-hop producer Whokairs? The beat is hard as hell and everyone sounds real hungry on here (hence the title of the track). Very dope. "Summer Ransom" is set to drop on July 31st over on C.Shreve's Bandcamp page.

C.Shreve the Professor is gearing up to release his "Summer Ransom" album on July 7th and recently dropped a new video for the title track off of the project. The song is produced by UK hip-hop producer Handbook and it has a nice laidback feel to it, with C.Shreve trying to have the summer on lock while flowing smoothly over the beat. Dope shit. Check it out above.
