Raf Almighty and DJ Brans - G.T.F.O.M.Y. (Review)

Raf Almighty and DJ Brans - G.T.F.O.M.Y. (Review) (Essence of Hip-Hop)

"G.T.F.O.M.Y." is the debut solo album from Dirt Platoon emcee and Baltimore hip-hop artist Raf Almighty. The album features guest appearances from Snook Da Crook, Wyld Bunch, Skanks, Fel Sweetenberg and others as well as production from Mil, Sir Williams (from Union Blak) and Fel Sweetenberg, but mostly all production is handled by DJ Brans (who is a hip-hop producer out of France). "G.T.F.O.M.Y." was released on June 9, 2014 via the Effiscienz label.

Fel Sweetenberg - The End of the Book (ft. Dirt Platoon)

Fel Sweetenberg just dropped some visuals for his track "The End Of The Book" a few days ago, with the track being one of my favorites off of his "The Invisible Garden" album. The song features Fel teaming up with Baltimore hip-hop duo Dirt Platoon over an ill DJ Brans instrumental with cuts by Dj Djaz. "The Invisible Garden" dropped back in April and is available for stream below. Make sure you check it out if you get a chance.

Dirt Platoon - Pain (Video)

Dirt Platoon just released a new song and video for the track "Pain", which will be featured on their upcoming album due out later this year. The song features Dirt Platoon spitting bars over a soulful instrumental by DJ CLIF. These guys are some of the most consistent artists in the rap industry and always come with that hardcore, aggressive sound. Dope shit.

Dirt Platoon - Warface (cover)

"War Face" is a collaboration album between Dirt Platoon (consisting of Baltimore emcees Raf Almighty and Snook da Crook) and producer Kyo Itachi, who handles production duties on the entire album. The LP features guest appearances from Ruste Juxx, Dro Pesci, Skanks (of Bankai Fam), Shabaam Sahdeeq and Milez Grimez and was released on May 20, 2013.
